Will someone please write this woman a happy ending?
All my life I've had a feverish girl-crush on Mary, Queen of Scots. Not that I don't admire her English rival Elizabeth, you understand -- I just wish the two of them could have been friends. So I just wrote a story called "Glory and the Clever Cat" where Mary disguises herself as a boy, sneaks into Elizabeth's bed, and . . . well, just imagine TWELFTH NIGHT by Shakespeare only sexier!

The best ending I can see is making the entire execution a ruse and Mary escapes.
